Another connection with the Prosper/PHYSICIAN circuit a plaque unveiling at the above address, attended by many SECRET WW2 Friends and Supporters who are also members of our partner organisation, Paris-based Libre Résistance (LR) – the organisers of the ceremony.
The property is where Suttill was arrested on 24th June 1943, sealing the downfall of his circuit. A welcome opportunity occurred when one of the residents invited several of us into the building, to view the inner courtyard and the concierge premises. Also welcome was the champagne reception held by LR after the event in the clubroom of the Paris RBL branch. Paul McCue and Ian Titman laid wreaths on behalf of our Network and were both interviewed (Ian pictured below) by a French film maker.
