Treasurer Trustee and Projects Officer Ashley Barnett was again on duty repeating his 2022 lunchtime presentation on SOE – “It wasn’t Just France” at the Union Jack Club in London for a sell-out audience of 90+.  In under an hour Ashley winged his way around the world with descriptions of SOE’s lesser-known activities in far-flung theatres of action. A highly-knowledgeable member of his audience messaged us to say that he thought Ashley had given “an excellent overview of SOE’s training, remit and service throughout the war, which is obviously no mean feat in a limited time. He also handled some pretty tricky questions and flew your flag well”. The latter included displaying our table top information boards and pull-up banner.
