Beyond preserving the memory of the Resistance, the association is dedicated to preserving the history of the Bureau of Air Operations (BOA) and acts as its guardian.
With 99% of its members being descendants of the BOA cell in Region A, we have chosen to continue the work begun by our ancestors, whether they were Free French fighters, members of the French Resistance, Companions of the Liberation, or crew members on parachute drops. We preserve their stories and archives and are committed to passing on the values of the French Resistance.
We conduct historical research on parachute drops and Resistance actions carried out by the BOA throughout Region A (Aisne) and neighbouring departements.

Dear Friends
Together with Claude Alexis Rivière (son of Compagnon Paul Rivière), I am delighted to announce the completion of our ‘Gens de la Lune’ project.
Our aim was to compile a complete collection – which does not exist today – of the newsletter of the ‘Gens de la Lune’ Amicale Action.
This rare, as yet unexploited archive, takes the form of a newsletter comprising a few pages per issue and is brimming with testimonies, accounts and correspondence involving a great many Resistance fighters from the Action networks.
Although the search for issue no. 30 continues, we have managed to gather 304 of the 305 existing issues. Whilst the OCR and keyword search functions still need some fine-tuning, we are very proud to announce the completion of this project and the opening, as of today, of this archive collection.
Thanks to the support of the Departmental Council, the Aisne Museum of the Resistance and Deportation, and the Departmental Archives, the first issues of *Gens de la Lune* are now available to view at the following link:
Here you will be able to find explanations, testimonies, accounts of clandestine operations and even photographs – many of which are little known and some of which have never been published before.
Yours respectfully and cordially
Aurélien Grenier
Président de l’association de préservation de l’histoire du B.O.A (Bureau des Opérations Aériennes )
