OPERATION JEDBURGH 1944-45
A clandestine operation run by SOE/OSS to drop 3 man teams to support the resistance in German occupied countries, primarily to to organise resistance units, train, arm and carry out acts of sabotage and offensive actions. This was to support OPERATION OVERLORD, the Normandy invasion, 6 June 1944.
